Continue Our Travel Around New Zealand With OBR Merino Travel Wraps

I thought I would take you on a continuation of a typical cruise around New Zealand.

It was a beautiful clear day last Thursday when at 7 in the morning I watched the Celebrity Solstice quietly make her way past Mount Maunganui to gently berth at the port with 1250 crew and 2850 passengers on board.

She started this particular cruise in Sydney and made her way across the Tasman to Fiorland, then meandered north via Akaroa and Wellington. Wellington was the first stop in the north island.
I was told by passengers that the crossing from Picton had been pretty spectacular. Dolphins were playing and of course the scenery was magnificent.

Of course Rotorua was the main attraction.

The famous geysers enthrall visitors and locals alike. Once you get past the smell it is a stunning experience.

There are just so many spots for the tourists with there being so many absolutely uniquely New Zealand attractions.

Of course for some just a walk around Mount Maunganui was what they wanted. It is so pretty with both the Harbour and the ocean beach for starters and of course a climb up the mount for those energetic ones.

obrmerino-travelwraps4The shopping is great especially I Love Merino…my favorite for all things Merino including OBRMERINO.  ( of course).

Then the Solstice will wind her way up the coast to Auckland this weekend through the Hauraki Gulf and past iconic Rangitoto Island.

Paihia will be her last stop in New Zealand. Imagine floating through those magnificent Bay of Islands being watered and fed in luxury.

There is a great store The Cabbage Tree on the Maritime Wharf at Paihia.  Naturally they sell our NZ made OBR merino wraps.

So until next time when I will continue talking about luxury travel….
