Welcome to OBR Merino, where passion for premium merino wool meets New Zealand craftsmanship. Our story began when founder Jan Turley fell in love with merino's exceptional qualities and made it her mission to share them with the world. Named after her design studio at One Beach Road, OBR Merino has grown into a brand dedicated to quality and authenticity.

 

In late 2024, Jan passed the torch to Jess, bringing fresh energy to our mission. As Jan shared, "Jess is young, vibrant and full of energy but foremost, she is an expert in merino and passionate about it." Today, we continue to design and craft every piece right here in New Zealand, maintaining the highest standards from concept to completion.

 

Our garments are lovingly made especially for you after you checkout. We are proud to produce by demand, not mass manufacture. This allows us to focus on quality and create each garment with intention. Every order being made just for you means a short production wait, but a lot of care goes into every piece.
